Sign-in

Google Sign-In is the only way to sign in. From Google we receive the email address, name and profile picture URL for the account. We store the email — it identifies your board — the name, and the picture URL. Sessions are stored server-side and end when you choose “Sign out”.

What the board stores

The board stores parcel facts: courier, tracking numbers, order codes, merchant names, parcel titles you typed or the system proposed, delivery stage and its history, pickup-point details and PINs when a courier message carries them, and the events read from courier messages. Text and screenshots you paste are processed to extract those facts. The extracted facts are kept; the pasted image itself is not stored.

Gmail (optional)

Gmail access is optional. Only if you press “Connect Gmail” and grant read-only Gmail access (gmail.readonly) does the app read incoming courier and shop emails to detect parcels. Email bodies are not stored: the board keeps the extracted parcel facts and a note that a fact came from an email, and the stored evidence line is deliberately withheld (“[email evidence withheld]”). The Google access token and refresh token are stored to keep reading; “Disconnect Gmail” deletes them and stops the reading. No email is sent, modified or deleted — the scope does not permit it.

Parcel Board’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Gmail data is used only to detect and track your parcels on your own board, is never used for advertising, and is never sold. Humans read it only with your consent, for security, to comply with law, or in aggregate or anonymized form.

Processors

Where the data goes:

• Hosting and background jobs: an external hosting and compute provider runs the app and the jobs behind it. It receives everything the app processes, as any host does. Its region is the European Union.
• Database: an external managed database provider stores the board. Its region is the European Union.
• Extraction of parcel facts from pasted text, screenshots and emails: external AI model providers receive the text or screenshot you paste, or the text of the email being read, and return the parcel facts. The content is sent for that extraction and for nothing else. The AI providers we use are companies based in the United States or the European Union. No provider based in China is used.
• Tracking status: the tracking number and the courier name are sent to the courier’s own tracking service and to external tracking-data providers, to fetch delivery events.
• Usage measurement: a page-view counter records page views. It sets no cookies and does no cross-site tracking.

Cookies

A session cookie keeps you signed in; a second cookie remembers your language. Neither is used for advertising.

Retention and deletion

Parcel data stays on the board until you archive or delete it; archived parcels stay searchable in the archive. On request to the contact address above, the account and all its data are deleted. Gmail tokens are deleted the moment you disconnect.

Changes

This page carries its effective date. Material changes are shown on the board at sign-in.
